Friday and Sunday Birthday Parties are available!

Birthday Parties are available at CMNH Friday and Sunday afternoons. Families have access to a private classroom area for food and cake, along with complete access to the museum's exhibits. The museum is closed to the public during birthday parties, however parties are at the same time and are NOT private. If you want a private party, you must book both party times. Parents are expected to stay with their children while playing in the museum, and help them follow museum rules. Children may not be left unattended at any time.

Birthday Party Times

Fridays: 2 party reservation slots available both from 4-6pm. Access to Private Party Room from 5:30-6pm.

Sundays: 2 party reservations slots available both from 1-3pm. Access to Private Party Room from 2:30-3pm.

• Birthday Parties are limited to 40 guests - this includes ALL adults and children who come to your party. Please do not exceed this limit.

• Please do not arrive before your party start time, as we will not be able to let you into the museum.

• By booking a Birthday Party you and all of your guests must agree to follow Museum rules, including staying with your children at all times. Your guests are asked to sign our guest book upon check-in.

• Decorations: Only tabletop decorations are allowed. Please limit the amount of party decorations you bring to your Party. Balloons are not allowed, and neither is anything with confetti or glitter. Nothing may be taped or pinned to the party wall, including Happy Birthday banners.

• Food cannot be consumed anywhere in the Museum's exhibits, and any food or drink must be kept inside the party classroom. Alcohol is not permitted inside the museum. Please plan to help clean up after yourself.

• Birthday Parties include use of the Museum exhibits and arts/science or making activities in our Muse Studio for guests.

• When you book a Birthday Party you will be required to pay the full $350 fee. Members get $20 off that fee, so be sure to create an account for our ticketing site and log-in first to get access to that discount. If you need to cancel your Birthday Party, you must notify us at least 7 days before your event to be refunded the full amount minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you need to cancel but don't notify us in time, we can help you reschedule for another day, but refunds will not be available.

• Birthday Parties are available to book online and are first come first served. If you see that a date is not available here online, it is booked.
