Scout Programs
Scouts spend an afternoon or evening at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire enjoying the many exhibits and taking part in several educational, hands-on activities!
Designed for Girl and Boy Scouts grades K-6 and their adult chaperones.
Choose from our many STEAM program topics during the day or evening.
WHEN: 1:30-4pm Saturday afternoons. Masks are now optional on Saturdays.
COST: $18 per child and $8 per adult
This fee includes all workshops and materials and access to all museum exhibits.
A $50, non-refundable, deposit is required to reserve your date and time. The Museum will reach out to you after you reserve and confirm the number of children and adults joining this program. The balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the program date. If you are unable to pay online with a credit card, please email leila@childrens-museum.org to reserve with a check through the mail. Please call 603-742-2002 x112 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays to reach Leila McRae to pay your balance. If you need an invoice sent to you, we are happy to provide that. Please email Leila McRae at leila@childrens-museum.org as soon as possible if you need an invoice.
A minimum of 12 children and a maximum of 30 children is required for Day programs.

COST: $25 per child and $15 per adult
This fee includes all workshops and materials, a snack and access to all museum exhibits.
A $50, non-refundable, deposit is required to reserve your date and time. The Museum will reach out to you after you reserve and confirm the number of children and adults joining this program. The balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the program date.
A minimum of 40 participants and a maximum of 80 participants is required for evening programs.
SNACK: Please note - No snack will be served at this time due to covid restrictions
Participants will make their own snack mix with various items. If concerned about food allergies, participants are welcome to bring their own snack.

What’s the Matter!
(for Daisies-juniors & Tigers-Bears)
Explore the many elements of Matter. Experiment with changing matter and transform familiar items from one form to another. Activities include: Matter Magic experiments & Shrink paper charm
Matter Mania!
(for Juniors-Cadettes & Bears-Webelos)
Explore the three states of matter with this fun workshop! Participate in some chemistry experiments that show the states of matter in action! Activities include: Homemade Slime Bar & Chihuly Shrink creations
Science Art!
(for Daisies-juniors & Tigers-Bears)
Combine Art & Science and create amazing works of art and experiment with how things work. Activities include: Circuit Art that lights up & Chromatography Critter art
