Junior Science: Garden Sprouts

Tuesdays, May 7, 14, 21 & 28 (4 weeks) from 1:30-2:15pm

Join us for Junior Science at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire! We are excited to invite junior scientists (ages 3.5-5 years old) to our May session: Garden Sprouts! We will be exploring plants, pollinators, and gardening! This 45 minute class includes a story or felt board activity, followed by a fun experiment, and a related art project to take home. Families with siblings may opt to play on the second floor during the class time from 1:30-2:15 pm - please note that the museum is closed to the public on Tuesday afternoons. Grown ups are welcome to stay in the building during class time.

Cost is Members $48/child; Non-Members $60/child.

FULL - Fairy House & Gnome Home Building Parent/Child Workshop

Sunday, May 19, 10-11am

Ring in springtime with the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s Fairy & Gnome Home workshop! Are you looking to have a whimsical experience with your child to celebrate spring? Look no further! This adult/child workshop will give you and your kids access to many natural materials, and help in creating your very own fairy or gnome house to take home.

Cost per adult/child pair is $20/Members, or $25/Non-members. Additional children are $10.

All materials will be provided, but cost of workshop does not include museum admission for non-members.

Registration required. Please note that no refunds will be offered if you need to cancel your reservations.

Wee Ones Wednesdays
a PRE Pre-school Class for ages 2-4

Join Miss Xanthi for this interactive weekly program for children ages 2-4. Designed as a PRE pre-school program for children and a parent or caregiver, we will enjoy art, music, movement and conceptual learning together! This program is limited to 10 children, and parents are welcome to sign up multiple children within their family. There will be no snacks offered or eaten during Wee Ones, and food is not allowed inside the museum exhibits.

Pre-reservation/payment is required. This program is limited to 10 children so if you don't reserve a spot before dropping into the museum, we can't guarantee there will be room for you to join in the program.

Wee Ones Wednesdays takes place Wednesdays from 9:15-10am on the following dates:

APRIL 2024: April 3 & 10 (No Wee Ones on April 17 & 24)

MAY 2024: May 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29

JUNE 2024: June 5 & 12
