FREE Blue Star Museum SUMMER
For Active Military: Saturday, May 18, 2024 - Sunday, September 1, 2024
The Children's Museum of NH is a proud Blue Star Museums member. We welcome active military personnel and up to 5 (five) of their immediate family members for free during the summer months. Simply show your military ID at the front desk (the military ID holder can be either active duty service member or other dependent family members with the appropriate ID card). This summer discount program is exclusively sponsored by Service Credit Union.
Q. Who is eligible for free Children's Museum of New Hampshire admission through the Military Appreciation program?
A. The free admission program is available to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. military - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, Space Force - and up to five family members. However, thanks to our sponsorship of this program by Service Credit Union, we are extending this offer of free admission to Veterans as well.
Q. How many military personnel and/or family members are allowed in for free per visit?
A. The military ID holder plus up to five family members. The military ID holder can either be active duty service member or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The active duty member or veteran does not have to be present for family members to use the program.
Q. How do I receive this discount?
A. We are asking all visitors to reserve their "play session" online. A play session refers to the date and time of your visit. Most days currently have two play sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (Sundays and Tuesdays have only a morning session).
If you'd like to use any discounts (like the Military Family Discount) to pay for admission, please still reserve your play session online for free and follow the directions for reserving with discounts. We will ask to see your Military IDs at the door.
Q. Do you offer other kinds of discounts?
A. Yes we do, but please note that you can't usually combine those discounts and use more than one at a time. Check here for more info on other discounts.
